Here's an abridged guide to the characters you may meet among these pages. People will be added as hey're introduced (or re-introduced) in the current run of comics.

James Quill, 22
Jay is an echidna studying a general "I've no idea what the hell I'm doing with my life" Arts degree. He occasionally remembers that he is in fact enrolled and needs to go to classes. As a student now living off campus, with Maz as his more adept housemate, Jay still has trouble with concepts such as "cook", "clean" and "pay rent". Due to an incident with a credit card he'll be working at a fast food restaurant for the next five years.

Amanda Burton, 23
Maz is a Proffesional Writing student who has nothing better to do than boss around Jay. A dingo by nature, she is actually vegetarian; any animal instincts are instead inflicted upon housemates and the general populace. The Yin to Jay's Yang, ond occasionally the bullet to Jay's head. Do not engage before either Midday or Coffee.

Mortimer Allen, 22
If there's one thing Maz enjoys more than bossing people around, it's bossing Mort around. Mort is a friend of Jay's now stuck sharing a class or to with the duo (Jay and Maz share a few subjects), and despite being decently intelligent, finds himself going along with Jay's whims. He also happens to be a turtle. Well. Not happens to be. Is. His mother is a turtle, and his father is a turtle. There aren't too many ways you can go after that.
